Shaun majored in Psychology, was later educated in Commercial Photography, Hypnotherapy, Fitness, and Real Estate Sales.
Shaun worked as a police reporter and general assignment news correspondent with The Philadelphia Inquirer. Shaun also held a part time staff position at the Bucks County Courier Times, freelanced at several weekly newspapers, and has ghost-written articles for medical researchers.
Shaun prior worked as a photographer and special effects photographic technician. She was employed with several Manhattan companies, responsible for all phases of special photographic effects produced for the advertising industry, magazine industry, the movie industry, and the recording industry.
In addition, Shaun worked as a Photographic Technical Representative, marketing the commercial and artistic work of a SoHo based, Madison-Avenue advertising photographer. Shaun also marketed and represented the technical work of a commercial special-effects photographic laboratory and graphics firm in Chicago as well as its associated film-works studio in Manhattan.
Shaun has held part time positions as a Fitness Instructor, a Licensed Real Estate Agent, and as a Rental Agent/Office Manager, with Toll Bros., Inc. She is a certified Hypnotherapist with the National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc., is a certified Fitness Instructor, and is certified in CPR.

PERSONAL & COMMUNITY:
- Served as a VITA Education Services volunteer.
- Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc., since 1996.
- Past President of a condominium-tenant's association In Brooklyn Heights for a ten-year term.
- Participant in the American Cancer Society’s charity Bike-athon from Philadelphia to Atlantic City, NJ.
- Married to William Stanert in 1986.
- Past member of the Bucks County Estate Planning Council.
- Organized an all-girl rock band, “The Sands of Time,” while in junior high school, performing as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist. The musical group was featured in a battle of the bands, recorded and aired at a Manhattan top 40 WABC radio station, featuring Disc Jockey, “Cousin Brucie,” aka, Cousin Bruce Morrow. The band performed at outdoor festivals, the Brooklyn museum and Floyd Bennett field.
- Joined the rock band, “QJ Logan,” while attending college, as their lead singer. The band performed at NYC colleges, universities, as well as Indoor/outdoor festivals.
